そんなCentOSなのですが、yum update時に何やらエラーが発生してしまいます。
公式のフォーラムには解決法が載っているんですが自分用のメモとして残しておきます。

エラーの内容

[('file /usr/sbin/sysreport conflicts between attempted installs of sysreport-1.4.3-13.el5 and sos-1.7-9.1.el5', (6, '/usr/sbin/sysreport', 0L)), ('file /usr/share/sysreport/functions conflicts between attempted installs of sysreport-1.4.3-13.el5 and sos-1.7-9.1.el5', (6, '/usr/share/sysreport/functions', 0L))]

これです。 ぶっちゃけもうよくわからない。

解決法

# yum remove sos
# yum install sysreport

これでOKのようです。
よくわかりませんが、sosを消してsysreportを入れればOKってことですね。
この後にyum updateをすれば滞りなくアップデートすることができます。
フォーラムでは2007/12/5にはこの問題をフォーラムにPOSTした人がいるようなんですが、日本ではググった結果からして発生している人いないようです。 不思議。
